Baits are items that are primarily used to capture Companions. They can also be used to acquire bindles.
Each Companion has a certain bait that they like. Having the correct bait is necessary to obtain a specific Companion but does not guarantee a successful capture.
Players can hold up to five of each bait in their inventory, except Bottle of Essence of Life, Bottle of Fury and Bottle of Nothingness which are limited to two.
How to Use
- When your Companion comes across another Companion, you have five minutes to chose a bait and try to catch it.
- Pictures of the baits in your inventory will appear beneath an image of the Companion.
- Click on the bait you want to use, then click on the "Capture" button.
- If the capture is successful, that Companion's egg will appear in your inventory.
- If you failed to capture the Companion, your current Companion's exploration will end.
